Average Rating3.00
(based on 5 reviews)

We are now primarily focused on producing resources to support the new STEM Challenge Curriculum. This curriculum is linked to F1 in Schools or versions thereof, but can also be taught exclusively without any link at all to the programme. The curriculum is intended to encourage children to understand how science, maths, technology and engineering come together to create real-life outcomes. They experience team work whilst developing their creativity and imagination.

Transport Through The Ages (9 of 14) Session 9 PowerPoint to Support Lesson - The Beauty of the Automotive Resources: PowerPoint to lead session with QR codes to Drawing Activities Fact Sheet about ‘The Beauty of the Automotive’ Template for drawing cars onto and words for labelling The aim of this session is to generate some excitement around what a Formula One car is. The children are encouraged to draw F1 cars from side on, front on and isometric (3D) views using a number of ‘How To Draw…’ YouTube videos. The STEM Challenge takes no responsibility for use of these videos - copyright wise, however all videos are appropriate for this age-range and have been accessed and trialled successfully by 8 and 9 year olds. This week’s session is a prelude to the children building their own cars. All resource packs include PowerPoints to support the teaching of the lesson as well as resources to support the learning. Please look out for the other 13 sessions in the pack, or alternatively purchase the whole package of 14 sessions for £9.99 (coming December 2021)
